Lets keep this review simple. Meek Mill is my rookie of 2011 hands down! He’s fierce, menacing, and has an urgent delivery that demands attention and to be respected. Although some folks may find his voice annoying, he follows in a traditional legacy of great MC’s before him. Mill demands your attention like Run, KRS-One, and DMX. Mill flexes confidence…not “swag” throughout his latest mixtape Dream Chasers 2 (And fpr the record, my people, swag needs to go ahead and die. For real).

Stereo and Trunk Musik is my true testament to my addiction to Gadsden, Alabama’s Juggernaut YelaWolf. His new opus “Radioactive” executive produced by Marshal Mathers, is a consistent extension of mind twisting verbal cannibalism. That boy Yella can spit! Call it the “caucasian Hip-Hop persuasion” where once it was a token thing to have a white boy spit detrimental bars. Now, as Hip-hop has matured “Token” has met its demise in the scheme of “the Black CNN” known as Hip-Hop. Radioactive , from a business perspective is clever in comparison to most Hip-hop material thats been released this past year. Radioactive is a top 10 hip-hop must to get for 2011. A lot of strategic guest appearances and surprise spills through Yela’s musical piece, from Mystikal to Gangsta Boo, Kid Rock, Rittz, Killer Mike, Lil Jon and a hysterical but captivating verse fromMr. Eminem….he killed it! Shouts out to Bear and KP for putting in and making the puzzle work! An impressive journey from last year this time. Oh yeah I need my vinyl copy too fellas! Go out there and buy Radioactive, in stores now!
