There aren’t too many words that could describe this event but four….IT WAS THE SHIT! Classic Atlanta music! This is the reason why i truly became an advocate in making the South Movement the force to be reckoned with in the 90′s. It was truly a joy to all of my cohorts in the building this past weekend. The venue, Center stage. The Event.”The A-Town Legends” Yes A-town day, and the (real) Freak-Nik , was recreated before my eyes. Every one from; Coolie C and Da Organization (can’t stop no playa) to Mc Shy-d,Raheem the dream,Dj smurf,Lil will,Back Bone,the Dungeon Family,Kizzy Rock to Kilo Ali showed the eager crowd why Atlanta had been put on the Map of Hip-Hop music. Quality A-town Music! Astheworld was in the house that night…Dj hotsauce on the recording and of course i was Hosting and spinning this event. There are talks of a tour for this event coming this summer and i know that the Oomp Camp will be in the mix for that one. Stay tuned in and turnt up! NEW ARTIST, ask questions ,Learn BECAUSE 30 YRS from now U (THE YOUNG,NEW ARTIST) should BE TEACHING the NEW GENERATION about this LOVE,this LIFE,this DREAM,this DEFINITION,this HIP-HOP.
